Soartex Invictus + Shaders (Type: Realistic)
Soartex Fanver (Type: Realistic)
Faithful (Type: Similar to the game, simply enhances how things look)
Nostalgia Craft: Makes everything look like Minecraft from 2010. Well, not everything, only the things that were actually THERE in Alpha. :P

Huawi's 16x16 Pack (Less Lag)

 

Faithful is by far one of the best resource packs going. They have multiple version, which include, but are not limited to: "Faithful 3D Pack" and "Faithful Low Fire Pack (PvP)".

I'll check out your other suggested packs though. Thank you.

This is by far my favorite resource pack ever. It looks so much like minecraft, but Better .-.
Especially, if you are a pvp'er, you should get the low fire Faithful texture pack.

The texture pack I done a review on, it gives me maximum fps what is 733, I use this pack 24/7 (note it's a pvp pack cx)

 

Wow, that surprised me, I didn't expect such good textures for a PvP pack!

It's a bit monotone, but since it's for pvp and no lag, I won't blame you. :yum:

I don't even play PvP...

IMO Mixing PvP packs and packs with high resolution blocks are better than just one pack for everything.

 

My resource pack folder is about 50+ packs. xD

 

The one in the video is a huahwi 16x16 pack
