Reports should be available for the viewing of all the players on this server. Hackers are a serious threat but what is even more of a threat is the false reports and bans that are put in place. It is important to have equality for all, and there is nothing wrong with having reports be public. By doing this, the community is aware and feels safe in the decisions that are being made and the punishment that each person receives. This prevents negligence from staff as well as brings a stronger connection to the players and the community in total.
I feel like there is good reason for reports to remain private between staff and the person reporting. And isn't there already an appeal system in place to deal with this?
I disagree as-well. Active reports have always been private due to reasons that there is no valid reason other than speculating from third-party perspectives which gets nobody anywhere.
Not happening. If they feel the ban was unjust they can appeal it and not all bans are from reports. Also, like what tober said they can see it after it is handled, the person reporting can always choose to hide the contents ^

I quoted what you said as an example of what some people do to those who report them. The reporting system is fine now and shouldn't be changed to where anyone can see it when it hasn't been handled.
People can already hide reports. If you just make the report title something wack so the person you're reporting wont know its you.
Like tuber said, the handled reports are already public, so regardless if you can't see the report when it's open, you'll be able to see/view it once it's closed.
