I really like the concept of this and so far enjoy it. It reduces a lot of posting on threads, but Forum users should be able to view the archive to pull up evidence of claims and etc for research purposes. @CypriotMerks

 

Explain how my idea is dumb rather then rating it give a little feedback ;).

I think its good on everything except the reports if bugs. If I want to report a bug I can see if there's already a report about it

 

My Reason why i hate it and i like it.
Why I hate it.
The report section should be a place everyone can see, and a place thats not secret. Yes there were fights on reports, But with alot of people the reports were like their news. People could see who did what and if they hacked etc.
People Also have the rights to defend themselves if they are reported.
Like @Ilikeicecream83 said people should see if a bug already has been reported.
I Also agree with @Daddy, People should be allowed to see the archive files of reports

Why I like it.
Mods have a easier job. They only need to see one post and not delete 100 others.
people will feel safer when reporting because they wont get abused by the person they reported so more reports will come in. So friends May stab friends in the back :/ Etc


Ban appeals should be secret. People do lie and all that on them but when they were open people they werent involved spammed them and make ban appeal into a flame war. I saw one thread that had 4 pages of people spamming them that werent involved or were a mod and it became a thread of flame :/


So i guess @CypriotMerks This is a great update but like Daddy and others said we maybe should be able to see the archives And bug reports.

 

Seems like an improvement than what it used to be. It'll cut down the spam and pointless posts of Reports and Ban appeals and should make the job easier for the mods.

 

It doesnt let me make ban appeals or reports except forum reports

 

I think people should be able to view these threads but not post or rate in them. If someone had important evidence to post they could ask an involved mod

I love this idea, I mean people aren't suppose to comment anyway so how does that affect them??? But this is kind of weird because what if your friend posted a report on a hacker, he didn't have all the info needed, but his friend had WAY more info than him, so his friend would post the info needed, but now we cant do that
so I'm like 50% 50%
