This new set up may cause problems as now we can't defend our selves till we are banned if we are reported for anything. As more and more people are getting banned for out of context things this may cause problems.
Cypriot i like the online tags but man not viewing other players ban appeals is broring i like seeing how people construct there ban appeals and use it in mine My opinion
Basically this since perkergei took my post. But yeah I think there were situations in which external player or user input was useful if they were involved in some manner and/or had supplemental evidence to share or previous experience in the matter at hand.
Now that I've formed my opinion, I don't like it :( It makes the forums so much more boring now being able to watch peoples either excellent ban appeals or horrible ban appeals, and watch the reports on players. Also, I think that it is unfair that players whom are being reported aren't able to defend themselves.
The thing is, some people lie in the ban appeals. for example, when I got eongod banned for scamming, he was lying about it. I had to provide evidence that he did scam. I think we should be able to see ban appeals but not reports.
This idea is good, But Cyp, You obviously didn't put much thought into it. What if a player is the offender, And they want to explain what happened? (Report) What if a player is the reporter that got the player banned? And they want to post on their appeal to explain somthing? (Ban Appeals)
@CypriotMerks I like looking at reports... Maybe not allow people to post? That would work. Disable ratings? Keep ban appeals a no-show to other people.
