I tagged him on my profile once and he responded, he must've gotten an alert.

 

I'm fairly certain he gets the alert, but you know the man has to get like 100 alerts in an hour or something. Your timing would have to be right. If a mod really wanted this, they could easily get in contact with cyp and send him the link to this suggestion.
