Remove all word filters globally across the server to allow unregulated free speech. Remove all rules condemning certain words and ideas (e.g. racism, swearing, discrimination, sexism). Spamming, advertising, threats, releasing private information, blackmail, malicious links, and staff impersonation will remain as against the rules. The capitals lock is to also be removed. Feedback is welcomed.
mhm, Definitely something I could think about but what about oppvp theres enough people "Bypassing as It is" and without a chat filter players would think they are allowed to Swear. No Support.

Why would you remove the filter? If you want to chat without a filter, go to hunger games, the climber or bedwars
Umm.. Why? This is... Generically a kid's game... A lot of children play it, not just 18+. You have to understand why it's in place, surely?
Support, I agree that swearing, racism, and other stuff should be allowed, it's part of the internet grow up and deal with it. People are gonna curse no matter what by avoiding filter so just take it away make it easier. I myself use this kind of language on other servers sometimes because people annoy me. Yes but, if you still do that it's still considered "to be reported" cause some people are babys and feel the need to report.
The server has rules. These have been part of the rules for a long time now.. There are no real problems. My point was, which I think I need to reassure some more is that this game, and server are played by children. And I know when I was younger, and whenever my parents entered the room -- they judged me on what I played, and I was happy Mineverse wasn't some swearing competition, and that it atleast tried to make the server a child-friendly place. Take a look at these stats: I have a friend, 14 years of age, the same year as me. His parents are not uncommon types of parents. I know this because I actually have a bout 4 friends who's parents are the same. What they will do, is come into the room and if they even sense so much as innapropriate content -- they're banned! Rude video? No more YouTube. Rude game? How do you refund it. Toilet humour image? No more laptop. You see the trend? My point is, we all know that people will swear -- and a lot. I think, the server has bigger problems than the chat filter right now, and removing it would only be beneficial to those who aren't restricted on the internet. Still, no support. Edit: Also. You want racism allowed? Now this is just wrong. Sorry for the bias. But this is. Racism isn't short of 100% offensive, there shouldn't, morally, be a joke behind racism. I know, I know - we've all made a joke here or there, but you want to be able to be allowed to make racist remarks in the chat and be fine with that?..
Yes, @Elliot but cursing is apart of life and it should be allowed because some people get mad and then they can't curse or say anything and it's the internet if the parents see cursing then the children should not be on the internet that is not my problem. I like servers that allow cursing, and other stuff because it makes it more fun by making jokes about people.
... That's your opinion. I suppose. However - it's not logical. You unfortunately cannot just expect everyone's parents to just change, or everyone to just get off the internet. It's just... Not going to happen. I feel if there was a toggle for this swearing, then maybe, just maybe.
Minecraft is a game, not the Internet. If you prefer a more mature and adult themed sever, good news, there's a lot. Making jokes about people? Okay so bullying people is okay? Racism too? Bullyings gonna happen whether you have a filter or not. But racism? It's pathetic to want to allow racism.
It's easy to deal with racism. It's just it's not morally right. I literally see no one cursing. Even bypassing. Like I see a few people daily who do it. Not everyone is aggressive.
What do you mean by "apart of life"? If what you're trying to convey is that the fact that people swear in real life makes it okay than I'm going to have to say that's very flawed logic. People do lots of things in real life because people are people, the fact that they do what they do doesn't make it right. As for the suggestion, no support, allowing people unrestricted freedom of speech would make the server very inhospitable to new members joining.
Allowing people to freely say inappropriate, sexist, racist and vulgar words would be a heck of a disaster. No Support.
