Hello mineverse. I was recently muted 1 week for DDoS threating. I really couldn't give less of a **** so the staff member's name will not be released. But the DDoS threat rule is DUMB!!! Think about it. Unless this member has your skype there is no possible way for them to ddos you. I like mineverse for many reasons. The main reason is we can do anything we want to mask our ip/protect it. Back to DDoS threating rule. Unless said member has your skype or any other form of IP checking.. i.e if a staff member/admin ddos threats, since they actually have access to IP check them it could be a strike. If theres proof they actually ddosed then you can ban them. Basically if you get ddosed its your fault anyways, you probably ****ed with the wrong person in the wrong way. Take it from me, most ddoser/doxers/swatters/pizza senders/etc. Don't just do it for fun. they need a straight up reason. How to prevent petty Swat/dox/ddos anyways - Dont give your skype out to everyone (I'm not saying make it friends and fam only, just be safe) How to prevent from being ddosed/dox/swat threated - Don't be a ****boy/***ole in chat - dont be good at pvp... To conclude Since most of these little randoms that ddos threat dont have your skype, a ddos threat is basically a blank piece of paper. And if you are still in denial about this then say no support. I don't have time to read rant comments.
Most people who DDoS are 12 year olds who can't do anything properly, from personal experiences they don't really DDoS for a proper reason, lol.
The flame a second ago was uncalled for. The comments have been removed. And for this, DDoS threats will not be removed as a rule.
I'd just like to add how u put 'don't be good at pvp...' But aren't all the ddosers pvpers? So you're pretty much saying don't be better than a ddoser or they will not accept that someone is better than them, get mardy and ddos them? If that's true then ddosers really need to rethink how they view people who are better than them.
No support, DDoSin' over a game is just abousoltly pathetic anyway, just sad people with no life or anything better to do.
Might as well close this thread, Nanurz answered the question. Also, I wish some kids would realise what DDoS and DoSing is. There is a difference. Also, as for your idea, no support, its threatening, and threatening is disallowed.
