I think the only way to tell if someone had no reason is if they post on your profile something along the lines of "hahah get rekt I just gave you your first dislike."
Question 1: No you would not be punished. Question: 2: The player would have to give reasoning for the rating or the staff could decide to revoke it if it is decided the rating is clearly unfair based on given proof.
I'm confused about this. If someone didn't post about needing 2 more likes for a trophy (but did), and I give them 2 likes within the same like 5 minutes. Would that be punishable?
The general reason for "disliking" something is because you dislike the post, so why would you have to state a reason?
I have an IRL pic rated "bad spelling". This is the kind of thing I was referring to when I said rating a post negatively without reason. Not at all. Dislike is a rating that anyone can use. Ratings such as "bad spelling" with no spelling mistakes however is one that could be removed.
Thorraks just rated this post informative, when it is in no way informative. Is this rate abuse and can I report him?
What if someone posted 100 posts in an hour and I liked 3 of them. Will it be rate abuse? As I said in a thread, I think rate abuse should be based around a ratio.
