Honestly, it all depends on which exclusives you prefer, and what system your friends play on. Here's what I think: They're both great, in my opinion. Xbone is more centered towards taking over your living room, being one of your main media centers. While PS4 strives solely on gaming experience. They're both roughly the same in terms of specs, with the PS4 edging the Xbone slightly. Although, this isn't really TOO noticeable. Both of the controllers are great as well. In terms of the different UI's, that's up to personal preference. Personally, I prefer Xbone's sleek Windows 10 look compared to the PS4's UI. Finally, Xbox Live VS PSN? I prefer both really, but Xbox Live seems to be a bit better really. They're both good and affordable. Just go with which system caters to your preferences, and whether friends is a factor or not.
Always choose the one your friends play on, therefore creative a better atmosphere and hereby gaining more enjoyment for your money. If you don't care for that, it depends what games you actually play. I tend to only play Black Ops 3, so I have a ps4 due to getting DLC a month earlier than Xbox does.
Yeah PC is truly superior, but some folk don't have 500+ dollars and the time to build a custom rig. :p 1V1 me on rust you m8
PC Though,PS4 has a slight edge is graphics compared to Xbox.Though despite the high pricetag of a Custom PC,it's much better in the long term because of the changable operating systems and parts.
Have you looked at alternate gaming consoles such as the NVIDIA Shield or Alienware Steam Machine? They are worth a look too.
I play PC and Xbox. Ask your friends what console they have and get that one. You'll have more fun playing on a console with friends than without friends. Consoles really aren't focused around the single-player experience.
