Before I start, YES I KNOW THERE ARE LIKE 5 THREADS ON THIS ALREADY but I just wanted to say why I think Prison should be reset. 1. This prison is OLD. I used to play back in 2013/14 and we had the same prison as we do now in the middle of 2016. It would be nice to see a new prison and new surroundings instead of being stuck with the same old stone brick and bedrock backdrop. 2. Right now, prison is pretty much dead. Even at peak times when all the US players are on, we barely break 20 to 25 players and that is quite saddening as I remember back when prison was just reset, there would be more like 50 to 70 players on at peak times rather than around 20. Resetting prison would hopefully bring in new players. 3. The economy is trashed. The economy in prison is the worst its ever been. Some examples of this are, potions such as strength and speed used to sell for 350/500 dollars a piece but now they can be bought for as little as 100 dollars. Protection 4 armour which used to be quite rare sold for around 10k a piece but now sells for only around 2.5k. The money in the server is also extremely unbalanced. around 80-90% of the players on there now have not even gained C prisoner yet (50k in game cash) and the other 10% have millions upon millions of which they do nothing with. A reset would make Prison have a thriving economy once more and make it a joy to play again. 4. Gear oversaturation. This is one of the biggest problems with prison at the moment. It is so bad that D-Ward has basically turned into kitpvp. You can often find prot 1 to 4 just laying around where people have been killed and the loot discarded. Theres also the amount of guard armour and gapples laying around. The old guards on prison clearly took advantage of getting /kit guard as there is now dubs of the stuff in circulation and for sale. this stuff was clearly not meant for that and got abused for money. Resetting prison would remove all of this illicit armour and make good gear valuable once more. Finally there are the gapples. Since vote parties were added. Gapples have exploded across prison. They now sell for less than a third of what they used to and some people have hundreds of them. an example of this is fatfish0110 who did a fake auction the other day and showed off his collection of 1750 gapples. This would have been an almost impossible on the old days of prison but now its easy enough to get dozens of the things a day. 5. Plots. A question I see time and time again is "how can I get a plot?" If this were the old days of prison, the answer would be just to go buy one. however now all of the plots are filled and rented for atleast 2/3 months in advance making it pretty much impossible to get a plot. What makes things worse is that some of the people with Plots rented months in advance don't even come on to play but merely to renew their plot. Another problem is that almost 1/4 of all the plots are broken and cant be rented. this hasn't been fixed in months and just makes it even harder to get a plot. Some guy was offered 7million dollars for his plot but he refused showing how valuable plots are. If/When prison gets reset, I would recommend that there be more plot spaces to buy and rent as well as a lowered cap from 3 to 2 plots you can have as maximum. These are my points on why prison should reset. there are many other problems I could talk about but these sprang to mind first. clearly changes aren't coming as plots have been broken for months..... That is why I'm asking for a reset because no one seems bothered to change anything right now
