So I was wondering this for a while now. I don't play factions often because I had no idea how the heck I play that server, but some 2 weeks ago, I logged on factions and went to pvp. I died. When I died, the server said, "Your power is now 0/10". Similar things had happened in the past when I would die in prison. "Your power is now 6/10". I just want to inquire, what exactly is the significance of power?

 

Basically power lets you claim more land, if you lose power that land may become raidable(Once their power is less than their claimed land number, which you can see by doing /f f *faction name*

 

Does this apply to prison? Because I'm pretty sure you can't claim land in prison free world. .__.

 

You can create a faction in the free world.

Here's the point.

If you have a lot of land claimed, you have to make sure you have the power to back it up. Because if your power less than the amount of land that you have, it can be over claimed until your power and land match up again. This is called pillaging.
