mayweather dragged out the fight on purpose, he knew he would be fatigued, if it had ended before the 10th round, it would go to decision it was more of a waiting game in the 2nd round, mcgregor was trying to play distant which was the wrong thing to do, especially if you're faster than mayweather. he should of gotten in all the punches he could to fatigue mayweather 3rd round was solid for mcgregor, he definitely won that round 4th round mayweather starts to come back 5th round, mcgregor was showing signs of fatigue just because of how he's swinging this is when I knew it was over ^ after the 5th round, there was no light for mcgregor. you see that mayweather had dragged out the fight and waited to see mcgregor show when he gets tired, and then it was just all bad for mcgregor after that. it wasn't that "survived and battled" per say, but you can't expect mayweather just to go all out on the first rounds, so we can pretty much eliminate the first 5 rounds from counting rather than 10. I was rooting for mcgregor, but I didn't expect him to win. What did you really expect lol, this guy does boxing for a living, its a different sport than mma. Mayweather has always been surrounded with boxing
The fight wasn't dragged out. Floyd threw an average of 36 punches per round at the age of 40. He is one of the most efficient fighters in the world, throwing 39 punches per round on average in his entire career. This is only beaten by boxers who are many years younger and in a lower weight class. You don't become the greatest pound-for-pound boxer in the world by dragging fights out. Also, McGregor was done the second Mayweather accepted the challenge.
^ what? round 6 is where he started going off, he kinda did drag out the fight round 9, he was trying to end it, reason why his average ppr was so high
