Robertson, known as Noobcrew to the Minecraft community, passed away yesterday from a heart attack. Paramedics were unable to revive him when they arrived at Robertson's Californian home. The owner of Skyblock, Mineverse and Minetime, Robertson has created a platform for over five million players. In 2012, Robertson also created the popular Minecraft Skyblock map (http://www.minecraftmaps.com/survival-maps/skyblock), a world where players start with only the bare basics of some wood and dirt. Robertson leaves behind his wife, Janice Everett and 2 year old son, Wilbur. Everett says, "establishing any [online] audience is hard, but to do it for millions is just incredible. Harold will be missed". Asking Minecraft player, Jenny Harris, a head moderator and administrator of many of Robertson's servers, adds that "Harold was an incredible leader to work with, and our communities are mourning this loss". At time of publishing, Microsoft, the parent company of Minecraft, have not responded for comment. Robertson's Minecraft servers have adventure, creativity and social aspects. There will be an online tribute for him on the 26th May at 4pm PDT on the Mincraft sever, skyblock.com.
