"Yet" is the keyword needed. From 1k players on good nights to 700 players on good nights, then down to 500-600 max on weekends. Its not dead, but its getting there. Either way, its pretty simple to disable emails for the forums.
The problem is, it doesnt. I tried this many times but my Gmail is still flooded with emails concerning mineverse. Sure, its not dead, but its not good. Its horrible. Mineverse has been on a decline for a long time and we've kept saying things like 'oh, 400 players isn't bad' then it became '200 players is a lot'. The issue is that we've kept a low standard. If we work to fix the issues plaguing the servers I'm sure mineverse would attract a new audience as well as regain old players (like me) who've quit simply because the server is just unplayable or has become bland. So to reiterate, no, mineverse isnt dead. But it's on it's way.
