Player heads in creative.

I have seen people with their player heads and would like to know how I can get mine.

Maybe this is a mod only task, but wanted to ask.

 

Theres a glitch you can do with your friends list to get player heads.
It's quite easy, pm if you want to know more.

 

So, why in pm? Is this glitch against the rules?

 

Don't tell him, if he gets caught he'll be banned.

Well, if it's a thing people can do, and if she teaches you, and you do it,your abusing a glitch. Simple.

 

But the severity of this glitch is not like other glitches because this is in creative and is a building object just like any other skull. We can let mods decide if this is acceptable.
@Dyna_Mighty What is your stance on this? Is this acceptable or forbidden?

 

The fact that it's a glitch stills makes it bannable.

As long as it is not done through the means of glitching it is fine

 

You used to be able to get heads with world edit, but they disabled it

Can mods /give them? or does it need to be admin?

 

I believe doing this is against the rules and It abuses glitches ;(

 

To quote the rules:

• Trolling, PvP Logging, Pet Hiding and Exploiting Bugs:

Do not hide within your pets to escape death & do not log out of pvp to escape death. Do not troll. Some situations considered trolling are falsifying information, giving out purposeful false information, etc. Do not abuse the bugs and exploits on MV.

In-Game: Doing any of these will result in a 3 day ban.
I guess it comes under bugs & exploits? So there's your answer :p

 

Cypriot disabled this heads on all servers apart from creative so that you can still obtain the heads through creative. You can get heads from head shops that people have from BEFORE the w/e was disabled and I believe this is the only legit able way.

Not necessarily.

People could glitch Noobcrew or CypriotMerks heads and sell them for a hell of a lot of money.

This was done to prevent cheating.

 

Could've been patched other ways.
