They are a post-hardcore band, which is basically punk-rock/hardcore punk. It's subgenres are emo and screamo. Basically, if you like Pierce The Veil, you should check out other post-hardcore bands like, "A Day To Remember", "Asking Alexandria", "Bring Me The Horizon", "Sleeping With Sirens" and "Of Mice & Men". That list is just bands that I also listen to, and recommend if you like the song in the Thread.

EDIT: You could also add Black Veil Brides and Memphis May Fire.

You should check out the bands I listed then, they are very similar, some have their differences though, but all in all they are good.

I'm actually surprised myself, rock isn't normally the most liked genre. For example, if you done this at my school, it would be like Rap, Pop or Techno, with like 6-7 people voting Rock.
