If all you are doing is graphic art that doesn't need super powerful commands, or just want to save some money, here are two programs that are free and can be used to do this sort of stuff! GIMP Paint.NET Google 'em, and you'll be taken right to the downloads. If you can get your hands on a copy of Adobe PS or Adobe PE, good on you, but try not to pirate them, it's morally wrong. Have fun drawing/editing stuff. Also, lola perez, good for you for teaching yourself a new skill. Keep at it and you'll be impressed by what you can do.
MS Paint is not on the Mac. See my above post for some programs that will work for Mac (as well as Windows).
