He's actually telling the truth. It's impossible to find something wrong with a perfect photo shopped screenshot as we have no knowledge on what really happened.
I do agree with mods looking at screenshots carefully, and look for any evidence of the screenshot being photo shopped, but we can't find all of them.

It's not really possible to "fix" this, photoshop isn't made by Minecraft, or Mineverse specifically.
