Yo guys, so I wish to manually upgrade my Samsung Galaxy Nexus i9250, from Android Jellybean 4.3 to Android Kitkat 4.4.4. If you're asking why would I waste my time doing this, well.
[IMG]Ye, I'm wasting my time to get Pokemon GO. :D

So, I already have the operating software, and I know how to upgrade the phone. Question is, is it worth it? Will my phone just break down because it can't take it? Should I spend my time doing this? Is this even possible?

If you don't know what you're saying, don't say it. It confuses me so ;s
I'm not a tech noob, in fact I'm quite nifty when it comes to technology, but it's my phone, and I'm a bit unsure.

I'm in a similar situation. I want to upgrade my LG Tribute 5 from Android 5.1.1 to 6 (Marshmallow).

One of my good friends irl tried to do this, he tried for 6 hours and still couldn't get it done and he's tech savvy.

I honestly doubt you can get it done yourself, it screwed up his phone and I believe without a doubt that the same will happen to yours if you attempt to do so.

I did it with my other phone and it worked, but that was Android 3, and I upgraded it to 4.3 (The one I have on my phone)
      So, should I?
Marshmallow is actually rlly good, if you can do it you will not regret doing so.
