Yeah, I feel like if you're cheating people of real life money (let's say you transacted real money [even though I think that in itself is against the rules, to be saying to use real life money to buy e.g. an alt account in-game], then I think it should be a perm ban) then I support this. But if it's just in-game money and items I think it should be a 2 week ban or a 1 month ban.
Not true unfortunately. I think that someone that scams for real money, like for a rank, should be perm banned the first time. I do think that scammers should have more punishment if there is clear evidence that shows the scam.
sure good idea even though there should be already a secure way to trade. If scammed over money thats a lawsuit into the real world and not over a game.
i think If it is a in game scam it should be like 2 weeks but if it is irl money it should me banned for 5 months and if it is a rank upgread take away there rank and 5 month ban because iv been playing on mineverse for a couple years now and iv never seen a perm ban before so 5 months will do for me #Support
Scamming was stupidly reduced to a two week ban on first offence, which is just outrageous and I honestly have never agreed with it. It shouldn't have ever went down from the 31 days (1 month) that it always had been. That's what makes people think. I personally would happily take 100k off someone in-game for a measly 2 week wait to use it.
Scamming shouldn't be a perm ban, but personally I think the current rule should be increased and only apply to IRL money scams.
No support, I personally think it's fine how it is now. Trade at your own risk, yknow? Shoutout to you for trying to help people being scammed though
the rules here aren't harsh because the owners don't wanna lose the entire player base, since we're all di**s.
Do we look like Minetime to you? Minetime and Minverse have different rules and mechanics, and should NOT be compared to each other. -=- support, but it should be the second offence. First offence would be a month ban
I know that, I'm just saying one reason we allow it is because it makes it easier for our staff. Mineverse is the same way, along with every other server. If you didn't allow scamming, it would be harder for staff to control everybody.
Honestly you are right remember the old mineverse when hackers got perm banned and you needed to appeal to get unbanned the rules are so lax now its just 30 days for hacking and then you go back to hacking and its like nothing ever happened. When you used to have to make an appeal people felt the risks of getting banned and did not hack as much as now. Also there were not that many scams back then because it was hard to get unabanned for scamming because there is no excuses. So that is why i think we should have perm bans for hacking.
What you said would turn out to be the exact opposite. If scamming WASN'T ALLOWED, then people wouldn't be so frustrated at the rules, rant and make a big ruckus. If we allowed scamming, the staff would have to do MORE to control victims of scamming and it's not like every time someone get's scammed, it's all "Mission Impossible" from there.
Minetime allows scamming on all servers. Nobody really complains when they get scammed, they either have learned not to or suck it up. It would be hectic for your staff to have to go through more reports of scamming and decide whether or not it is a scam, and punish the player properly. It would be much easier for the staff and community to allow scamming, so staff can spend their time on more useful things.
the point I'm trying to make though is that it won't happen. That's all. And since when did you care about our staff?
If they scam the first time i believe a 30 day ban is necessary, the second time however, to some extent what is scammed if it's a massive amount of money, i believe a perm ban at that time, but make the first time that they are banned for it very clear that the next time they do it, will be a perm ban. P.S - Most scammers use McLeaks/Alts.
