So, I recently reported Xx_BonnieMc_xX for advertising, I went on today, and she was on! I asked how, she said rudely, "There is such a thing as HotSpotShield." Whatever that is, it lets you IP ban evade.

Only his name came up, I doubt he was IP banned because moderators don't have /banip. Did they say what account they were previously using before being banned?

I read about it somewhere. It is a thing which should protect you from websites getting your ip.
So if you turn it on you can evade.

 

I don't think they were IP banned, as their account would be banned as well. And Cypriot would be the only one who probably would of IP banned them if he actually did.

 

I think it works for normal bans aswell.

 

It doesn't, when you're banned with /ban you're banned under your UUID, not your IP.

 

Either way, it unbans you.

 

It's not either way, I can't use a different IP to evade my UUID that is assigned to my account. I would need to use a different account to evade a regular ban. I can't do much without him saying he is ban evading or saying his other account. The screenshot just says him saying there is something called HotSpotShield. If you can't provide anymore evidence within 24 hours I'll have to close this due to lack of evidence.
