      Harry Potter.
      The Hunger Games.
      Now Divergent.
      Are they milking the franchise or can they genuinely not fit the final book into one movie?

      They could be planning how to put the plot from the book into the movies. As you know, many books that are turned into movies have not-so-similar plots to those written in the books.
