Now that mobs have entered the mix within the OP Prison community, many new items have been introduced into the servers economy. People (including myself) having been searching for new ways to obtain items that could be considered "rare" at the time being since not everyone is up to snuff on aspects of vanilla Minecraft. Not to say that this in anyway compares to vanilla or for that matter is a bad thing, but it simply is not needed. The new items have only caused frustration in chat over prices, rarity and other matters that simply don't need to be occurring. On top of that some people are being affected by fall damage in numerous ways. For example, unless you eat an enchanted golden apple every time you want to visit a shop that uses jump pads and giant pits (like mine does) you can't. That plot owner potentially can lose the sale that might have occurred, and even the person visiting can lose their items from death of trying to use a shop. With that death will only come blame for potentially "stealing" items from another player if they cannot retrieve them back. My plot is now currently closed because of this for fear of someone reporting me for scamming items which I had no intention of taking from the player. I'd like some other players feedback as to whether mobs and fall damage should go or stay as I cannot speak for everyone nor convince Cyp or Noobcrew alone.
I agree with you. The mobs don't really post a threat, but they are very annoying. And I have no idea why fall damage would be added, since there are, as you said, jump pads that can shoot a player straight up, then possibly kill them with the fall damage.
