I found out how to get a profile cover, but every image I tried that works won't show the whole picture/gif.

You can't get all of it to show so just reposition it or get one that's a little smaller

 

How do I reposition it?

 

Just search for (name) facebook cover,it should be fine.Or any wallpapers that are 1720(and down)x1080

There is a cover button,click that,and there should be an option to position it.

 

When you have it set, click the picture then select change cover, then some options should show up and reposition should be the second one I think.
