Sorry Banana, I'm neutral on this. It just doesn't have the right feel for Mineverse. Mineverse has a feel that its meant to be dark and mysterious. But that's just my Opinion :P I love the design of the lobby and it looks Great! However I just don't believe it suits Mineverse. Good Luck!
Indeed, mineverse is in need of a new lobby in my mind. The lobby should be original but it does not necessarily need to be a new concept. Hub servers are meant to be small, detailed, and easy to ambulate so that players can navigate the space easily. This makes it easier to find portals and the gamemodes you want to play. The blocks used here are blues and greens which could easily fir into a dark theme if need be. Cut of some lighting, done. Maybe we could team up to come up with some never used before ideas! Anyways, thanks for the input, it is greatly appreciated. Sadly, this would be a awkward game mode spawn. I mean, it is all hub. Look at all the portals, the design is spaced out to be some sort of lobby. Maybe I could modify this and make it into a gamemode spawn but I doubt that would happen unfortunately. Thanks for the idea Scor! Ill explore some new designs soon. Who knows, maybe I could turn this into a gamemode spawn some day.
No worries, no need to be sorry! Everybody has their opinions. Just as scor said, he thinks the same. I can easily see where you guys are coming from but as I further explored this hub, I found that making an anti luminescent spawn works well. The lanterns give of more light then I expected. As I said, I will happily play with ideas and show them before you guys. Maybe you guys will change your mind, maybe not. I have no power over that in all reality. Thank you for providing your input Alex! PS: Thanks Scor & Alex, it means a lot knowing that you guys think the spawn looks nice.
I feel like you mentioned me twice because my IRL name is Alex :> but I know who you mean :P And I might try doing the "New Concept" thing on one of my creative plots
Thanks for creating us a new spawn but it's decided that Crew wants to stick with the current spawn we have now. If we do ever need a new spawn we'll probably host a spawn competition or buy a spawn from our builders.
