I was just wondering if anyone else has the same issue as me where hackers are taking over the server and the anti cheat has been doing nothing. Maybe even if they just got AAC or something but please get a new anti cheat!
In my opinion, the anti cheat is pretty good, and I don't believe they need to invest in a new one. No Support.
This comes up all the time. The kindividual of anticheat you want is one that bans hackers there and then. Imagine this, if you get false banned by the system because you were lagging you would not be allowed to appeal. You could've been falsely banned and it would be an injustice against you but there would be nothing you could do about it because the anti cheat you suggested does not gather video evidence. The system we have works, if there areally lots of hackers on a game mode I suggest either finding a mod or even better recording and reporting them.
I agree with this, but however we need one that at least detects Bhop and fly. Also, the one we have currently come with a pretty bad hit detection as well bc on oppvp you can barely hit players.
Along with getting an anti cheat, there are people on websites like SpigotMC and MC-Market that set up anti cheat configurations so that people don't get false banned for lag.
Yes i understand you concern. Although I would suggest that you maybe set the threshold's really high at first and lower then slower until the reach a balance between catching hackers and preventing false positives! Also thanks for the support @Linux and @Policy
Also if the issue is the entity you can always disable it. AAC is fairly configurable and personally i think it would be good for mineverse!
Instead of an anti cheat that bans you, it just kicks you. Like, if they try to use the hacks they will just get kicked over and over again so I think that's alright imo. Support
We alead have something like this, have you ever been kicked for 'sending too many packets' it's the server kicking you usually because it thinks ur hacking
Yeah I noticed that, one time I got glitched in a slab and got kicked for that But maybe make it a bit stronger or advanced is what I'm saying
