Hello lads, This felt like the most sensible place to post this poll, so here it goes. With my current giveaway receiving many entries only 24 hours after it begun, a promise is a promise (If you read my current giveaway on forums, then you know what I am talking about) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another giveaway is in the works and will take place shortly after my current one ends. However, this giveaway will favor those with strong pvp skills. I will be teaming up with @Porky to host a pvp style tournament with a bigger prize pool and more winners. Considering you guys are the ones who will be competing, you will get to decide how the giveaway will work. I will be posting a poll asking if you want the competition to be on OP or KIT, the one with more votes will win. However, I would also like to know.... - Do you want it to be a 1v1 style tourney, or team oriented (2v2, 3v3, 4v4, redrover, etc) - If it takes place on OP, what should the sharpness cap be? 30, 35, or 40? Feel free to give your recommendations on what rules should be put in place, what should be allowed in the pvp setup, and in general how I can improve this giveaway. Host it on Op, players have more, i guess you could say, 'experience' playing oppvp, make the sharpness cap s30, s35 and 40 1v1's are just too quick imo.
I agree, I feel like anything bigger than a 2v2 just allows for “super teams” to be made. If a lot of these stacked teams were made, it would be fun to watch, but it would give the newer and less experienced players low chances at winning, but then again, this giveaway is supposed to be won on skill. I could however have the teams be randomly selected, but I want you guys to be able to pick your team, so 2v2 seems like the perfect balance. I appreciate your feedback Gray :p
Completely agree w/ you, but I think you should only be able to pick a player that has commented on this thread because that makes it, well, fair imo
I’ll consider, but for now, I’ll table that idea. I feel like if everyone is able to pick their teammate, most likely a friend of theirs, they will want to play in the tourney, and you know, not troll and ruin the event for everyone because 2v2 is, in my opinion, a very fun game mode. The prize also offers a strong incentive to play by the rules and compete to win
I would love to hear your ideas for a competitive pvp tourney/giveaway hosted on kit, despite the little number of votes on this poll, I know that a lot of players would be intrigued by a pvp event on kitpvp
