Hi sorry this isn't an issue with mv but idk where else to look for help. Anyway as the title says my mc launcher is not working. I downloaded the new version of the launcher that does not require Java. It was working extremly good until a few days ago. Now when I double click it it doesn't do anything. I tried everything. I right click and hit open, opened from my start menu and even tried reinstalling it. Lately I've just been using my old Java launcher which makes my game lag very bad. If anyone knows anything I can do please tell me. Thank You. I'm also on a PC if that helps
I've never heard of this type of launcher. Isn't Java mandatory to play Minecraft? Hmm... If you're looking for an alternative launcher to use for Minecraft, I suggest the Magic Launcher. From what I've heard about it, it's pretty good. Installing mods is quick and easy, unique interface, easy to download and use, launches MC quickly, etc,. I'm not sure how a Minecraft launcher would alter your FPS whilst in game. Make sure your Java is up to date and give it a few more tries. Best of luck with your problem.
In my old launcher At the top in red it says "You are using an old version of minecraft launcher download the new launder here which doesn't require Java it may make your game faster" So I have that instaled and it was working very well before but now it won't even open.
Ah, I have it, too. Since it is a new launcher, it may be buggy. I'd say revert back to the old launcher or use, as suggested before, the Magic Launcher. I'll also do some research about this launcher and see if I can find out what your problem may be. I had no idea a new launcher was officially released. My apologies for being so clueless.
