Heyoo! I was recently messaging a friend of mine on Skyblock and he switched off to OpPvP. My idea is quite self-explanatory - you can message your friend in any server. When I tried to message him, it stated that he was offline while he wasn't. Honestly, I think this will be quite beneficial and if someone tried to spam a player can always take a screenshot. Adding on to this suggestion maybe only Sponsor + will have access to this? Hopefully, this can avoid spam to any user but I don't think it's necessary myself. I'd just like to message my friends while they're on different servers Tell me what you think !
Support This feature would be very nice! I doubt spamming would be a problem, and people shouldn't have to buy a rank for a basic chat feature.
This can be exploited. The command would be provided by a bungeecord plugin, meaning you could /msg people whilst you are muted. Since LiteBans wouldn't be handled from Bungeecord, I don't believe it would be able to stop proxy commands whilst a player is muted, meaning you can still message people whilst muted. This would be somewhat difficult to integrate as punishments are per-server. A solution to fix this, is to use BungeePexBridge. Commands can be executed upon a player being muted to prevent them from being able to use /msg. A more effective solution (allowing players to /msg on other servers except for the ones they're muted on) would be to have a plugin on each server and one on bungeecord using sockets. Support because the idea is nice, but the idea isn't easily implementable on mineverse without being exploited.
