Can anyone make up a good excuse to the constant use of "more info" in moderator applications? I can only see one reason to it: Gaining posts. Is there some barrier that classifies applications as unsupportable because they only put one to few sentences in a response to a question? Those few sentences could be the meaning of life and yet some of you here would be thinking about making this person look bad so you could get the upper hand on views and votes. Is this just a trend, to go to an application you feel superior to and take the "more info" dump on it? If anything, you should be judging what the applicant already put in their application and when they have not expanded on something relevant, then, and only then should you ask for more information. So, can anyone answer this in a logical and reasonable manner? Thank you.
I agree except one thing. Sometimes they are lacking in information about themselves and we don't really know much about them. We want to get to know the applicant better.
I don't get this though in my opinion the moderator applications nowadays are critiqued so hard some are 500 words yet people still ask for more information seriously to my opinion an application is supposed to give only a brief description of who you are and what you do for the community no one wants to read a moderator application that is like 1000 words.
