Greetings Mineverse Community! Unlike our usual method of adding new mods to our team, we have decided to branch out and use a new method to see who wants to be a part of our team, applications! What does each mod do you ask? Well, for the most part, they do as the name says. Chat moderators moderate our chat, which is simply removing messages and issuing warnings when they violate the rules. You do not need to be active in chat, however it's highly encouraged that you are, just so it doesn't seem dead. Forum moderators moderate the recently updated forums. This would include removing spam, moving threads to correct sections, and deleting posts that violate our rules and issuing warnings. If you have moderated forums before, this is no different. Site moderators moderate the rest of the site as a whole, including the mod section, projects, skins, and the like. This includes accepting greenlights (content which acquires approval before being publicly visible), responding to reports on content which violate the rules, and overall being a helpful user to the site. In order to apply, please select the appropriate application for the section you wish to apply to. You can submit an application for all 3 sections, however please only submit 1 app per section. Please select the section that you feel you would do best with and that you are the most active in. Some guidelines for applications: - We are looking for quality, not quantity. Be thoughtful in your responses and provide examples to help your application. - Do not ask for the status of your application. This will decrease your chances. - Do not bribe, manipulate, or otherwise attempt to alter or coerce other moderators to help promote your application. This will result in your application being denied and possible further actions. Cheating will not get you far. We will inform you of the status of your application after it has gone through our internal processing. We will not disclose any discussion that occurs on your application, so do not ask any moderator. We thank you for your time and any applications that you submit!
