If you aren't from the US, where the server is hosted, it will probably be laggy. I don't think that they will reset Mineverse for it either, so you're probably going to have to deal with it. Make sure to check your side of the connection to see if you can help. Thanks ;)
Try WTFast. It increases my ping a lot, though I don't use it since I'm only about an hour from the host. :P
