I agree. I only really stayed here because of Infection but that spiraled downhill a long, long time ago. I've been on Mineverse for three years already and it's growing to be quite a disappointment. All of the older players are leaving and soon will I, it isn't going to be "big" like I assumed it was going to become. I don't think that the server will be completely dead but maybe not as popular anymore.
I got banned here for 3 Days on here and when I come back I have reported 12 hackers and 3 people for death wishes and that's just for bedwars! We need a chat filter and anti cheat plugin.
You can't exactly get youtubers to attract views, I doubt YouTubers will want to start a long series of Survival/Prison/KitPvP/Infection here.
Ah, I almost left Minecraft for Steam, I was addicted to Skyrim, but then ehh... Found my way back here.
Bedwars is the only mini game I like (Even though I don't really play it often), Bedwars is the most popular mini game. I think that mv should delete the rest.
Mineverse right now is full of hackers, if you want things to get better for mv right now, get anti-cheat..
Not sure about dead yet but if the amount of players continue to fall at this rate it will be dead pretty soon.
I don't think you read the thread or maybe you did but just didn't understand it. I said it may die off in the next year or 2, I don't mean straight away. Please don't take this in the wrong tone, I'm not in any way trying to start a fight w/ you.
Not sure when mineverse or minecraft will 'die' but it seems to me when the next big hit of sandbox game comes out, everyone will move towards it. Just like how minecraft did to Lego. Random assumption but it seems logical.
The small servers and large servers are becoming increasingly stratified as Minecraft's popularity declines. Most of the smallish-medium servers I used to plan on have all disappeared. The minigame servers seem to be the only ones with any advantage.
I guess all good things come to an end and any product, or game in this case, has its life cycle. Is minecraft nearing its end? Possibly so, but it's definitely reached its peak imo..
