I think MV could use a volunteer archivist. I'm not sure how long these forums will last, but would be quite neat for this sort of internet-based, community-led gaming community around a 3rd party indie game like Minecraft to be preserved as a sort of historical time capsule to the minecraft multiplayer community.

A good friend of mine, Mod_masta, an admin and archivist for the late Emenbee Realms wrote a tribute published by Mojang on Minecraft.net to the server, the players, his old boss and longtime friend who passed away from Cancer just before covid. I think about this post a lot, especially as it relates to what these gaming communities have meant to players as they've grown up -- particularly as it relates to showing up for each other and learning how to act and hold positions of responsibility in your community from an early age over shared passions. I'd be happy to volunteer.
