As minechat has a black background, it is easy to frame people and get them banned, but a lot of people use it to report advertisers, swearers, etc. I think the mods might be able to find the difference between a photo shopped screenshot between a legit one.
I feel as if the cons of being falsely banned override the cons of a few lost legitimate rule-breakers. Moreover, I feel as though the most you could catch with Minechat is harassment/spam/threats. Someone using PC could easily screenshot anything necessary if needed to using Minecraft's built in screenshot system. I support.
I agree, anyone with basic photo editing skills could spoof some evidence. I reckon that there SHOULD still be a ban, just not a full 1 month ban etc. I think the ban should be shortened, perhaps.
No support. Looking at people who were banned for fake evidence, it's obvious it is fake upon closer look. Just appeal and I can help; some of it's obvious, and some of it is off by only a bit.
Support, minechat is super sketchy. If something ready did happen you could ask someone who is actually Ingame to screenshot it.
