Mineverse as a server is coming up on 4 years, btw.


I personally don't believe it's needed at all. Nor do I see the point of having an extra tag in-game just to prove how long I've been playing the server for. Why does it matter at all how long I've been playing the server for?

 

It can be useful to know who to go to if there are no members of staff on and you need information on the server/information on how to play a game etc.

 

Just because you've been playing the server for a long time, doesn't mean you know the rules though?

 

Well I think if someone just got titan and didnt know how to play at all and got asked, and there was a regular who had been on for 3 years then the regular would know more but there would be nothing to suggest that, and if someone has been playing for a year then surely they would be bored af if they didn't know how to play.

 

But the rank you are suggesting isn't a donor rank, so you can't really put that up against a donor rank which is purely gained from donating.

I was also talking about if let's say someone only joined the server one time. Then came on 3 years ago and received this suggested rank, just because they joined the server one 3 years ago. They don't know anything about the server, surely? So, why would they be worthy of having this rank?

Wouldn't a Veteran be someone who has stood by the server for the whole 3 years?

 

maybe another way to go about it is time playing in the server? like after 1000-3000 hours or something?

because a player that played once 4 years ago shouldn't have a vet rank.
