Intorduction The rules for hacking on this server is actually really dumb. A pvp based gamemode gets a 31d ban yet a non pvp game-mode is a 14d ban. But for Minigames and Skywars is a 3d ban. Wouldn't you say Skywars is a pvp based game-mode? Shouldn't hacking on Skywars receive a longer ban than hacking on Skyblock for example. The Suggestion What I am suggesting is that when someone hacks on any game-mode they WILL receive a lobby ban, however not a 31d ban. This suggestion is to add a 3-7d lobby ban as well as their 31d or 14d on the game-mode they were caught on. For the people who will no support because of false bans, people will have 24 hours to appeal. For the people no supporting because of injection clients, tough luck for them, they decided to hack they should take the same punishment. Bans for Minigames and Skywars will just be the 3-7d lobby ban. Explanation The main reason for this thread is that EVERYONE who hacks on ANY server connects through the lobby, unless they are using an injection client. So why are they only banned on the game-mode they were caught hacking on? If they're caught hacking on OpPvP for example, that means they must have been using their hacked client in the lobby, yet they receive no punishments for it. If you leave a "No Support" or "Neutral" please comment your reasons down below.
Skywars is actually linked to the lobby, that's the reason behind that. I can see the annoyance behind hackers and what not, it's very pointless when we have to ban the same person for hacking on multiple servers, because they obviously don't care. I'd rather lobby ban them, as it makes more sense. I'll watch this and see if anyone can bring up any good points.
No Support. Last year was when players were just able to appeal in an hour and get unbanned. You should be thankful that it's been changed to the new system. Why should a player be lobby banned and banned for a 31 day ban on that particular game mode. Yeah so someone should be banned in lobby because they have a hacked client on. Wouldn't you need proof of them actually using the client in lobby? This example is stupid because why should someone be banned in lobby because they have it on. They could just stand there and boom! Banned in lobby, great concept :lol:
What you are saying is that people who are using hacked clients should be allowed as long as they don't use any of the modules? Here is a quote for the rules list. Using a hacked client isn't allowed. This means connecting to the server with the client "Using a hack client or any unconfirmed mod on the server will not be permitted." If they are using hacks on a gamemode they have a hacked client. You need to use a hacked client to connect the lobby to use hacks on the gamemode you were caught on. You should actually go read the thread before commenting to stop this confusion. The video of them hacking on the game-mode they are banned on is proof of them using the client inside of the lobby. The hacking rule is for usage of the hacked client, not usage of the modifications on the client. The usage of modifications just give 100% proof they are hacking.
No support. I don't think that they should be lobby banned for hacking. Most of the time they don't even use their hacks in the lobby. If they are doing something like flying or bhopping in the lobby, then they should be lobby banned.
No Support. I would atleast suggest to add a 31 day ban to Skywars and Minigames, since they are both pvp gamemodes.
