I don't know if the lag machine causes lag on all servers, all I know is that when players on creative stayed at the plot, it lagged like hell.
Lucky for us, each separate game mode has its own "server", per say. Therefore if lag happens on there, then it shouldn't happen on another server. This keeps them more "stable" while the player mass increases throughout the day.
Creative most likely receives the most lag input, I was just a small contributing factor. My machine was local, and there are some other machines existant. Anyway, voting causes the person who voted to get worldedit for 6 hours. Giving worldedit lags the server. Now imagine mass voting. Aha..
"omg I built a lag machine on a Minecraft servers creative gamem0de!!!1!! Look at me everybody!!" Literally you right now lmao
Is that why you created a forums account, directly went to a mods profile - presumably the banning mod to talk trash, came here to claim credit for your 'masterpiece' and all in all decided to be a total attention seeking scum? Yeah, you're right. You didn't ask for attention, you god <edit> begged for it.
Oh no, I just went to the mod's profile to find a loophole, now it's my goal to poison the online punchbowl. I was tagged to this thread so I see my machine, I of course must thank the person for saving my artwork.
You're clearly the modern day Picasso. Your profile says you are 16, and yet you're coming on here to make it your 'goal' to poison the online 'punch bowl', where you're first target is a Minecraft server? Lmao. You spent probably 2 hrs on a lag machine, congrats. You're not some kind of genius.
Voting has no effect on lag that I am aware of. And lagging people out is nothing to be proud of, nor is the machine a ' masterpiece '. Period.
This is also why heads were removed because of the lag, people can also sometimes crash the server because of these lag machines.
Useful plugins to help solve this problem and the hacker problem slightly. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/simple-helpop/ http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/simple-help-tickets/
The new plugin makes it so red stone gets disabled as soon as the owner leaves, I believe. So if someone were to be banned because they created a lag machine, the machine would be useless until they get unbanned. I do think that the new plugin is worse than the old one, because it's as if there's a lag machine on all the time.
