What I know there won't be a reset in 1.9 but I could be wrong. I know that pvp would be much more weird because of all the updates but I don't know if they disable it or not.
Mineverse won't switch to 1.9 so quickly, no plugins will be compatible and stuff, so it will be a couple of months untill it will.
They shouldn't reset it people spend a lot of time on kitpvp and if they reset it people will get mad
