Ok guys. This is going way too far. Mineverse Kitpvp keeps getting flooded with hackers. All you guys are doing is banning them for 30 days. I believe they should be ip banned, Due to the fact that they are donators. Donators are going on alts, And hacking. All that is happening is they are getting banned for 30 days. For all we know, They have unlimited accounts. I believe that every single recorded hacker on Kitpvp should get IP Banned for 30 days, So then we do not have to deal with the problem for a while.

Support, but giving mods IP ban will most likely not happen. Maybe Perm bans?

@Herf , I believe that giving perm bans are not necessary, Unless you constantly do something wrong, Such as hack every time they get unbanned. I believe they should get 3 chances. If IP bans come into place, Hackers should be reduced.

Moved to suggestions although this will never happen.
      I can promise you that.

While I hate that people do this, it's just part of the game. This happens on all servers...
Ranked players hack on alts and pass the loot to their main. It's part of the kitpvp lifestyle.

If we get proof that they are ban evading we can ban, but we will never have access to view IP's in game. We use a ProxyPipe for DDoS protection. ProxyPipe is a reverse proxy, because of this sometimes when we want to check a players IP, it can be the IP provided by ProxyPipe, this is a downside to the way that the DDoS protection works.

@Pile I know what your talking about, And I think mineverse has to add something to help. For example, An anti cheat. Or a few mods from different timezones that are able to be on when other mods are offline.

@Pile I would like to help out the server. I have found the source of where they get alts from. I will not say it in this chat, I will private message you, So it doesn't spread. I also know a few servers that have fixed it. They have installed a certain plugin which detects the alts. I will research that plugin so the server can improve :)

If the moderators aren't trusted with perm bans, why are they trusted with tempban?
      Anyway, that's off topic.
I personally believe the moderators should have permission to permanently ban hackers.
Banning them for 30 days is not a decent solution to the problem. Nine times out of ten these players have an alternate account or can just wait out the days only to be banned for 30 days again. Creating a monotonous cycle with no real end.

If moderators don't have access to perm bans we should at least get a better anti-cheat.
We need some sort of solution to this. As the problem will only grow.

      Support.

The reason moderators font have Perm bans is because none of the punishments on the server (Except spamming Dox's) Is perm bannable. It takes multiple times of repeated offenses to result in a perm ban, most people stop after the 1st or 2nd time.

And then it comes to the hackers who are repetitive to a degree that people just give up on reporting, because even if they do; the player will be banned for 30 days.
