Hello, so about the past year or so, I would get these random lockups with my keyboard and mouse for about 3-5 seconds followed by some beeps when my keyboard and mouse finally responds. It makes my MC character move in a complete different person than I want it to, and it's not lag because everything else is moving normally, it just that it locks up and I lose control. I can still PvP decently, but this little issue messes me up quite often. Plus, I have yet to find a solution to this on the internet. Does anyone know how to fix this and/or has anyone even had this happen to them?

The problem may be your computer, not your Minecraft.
I would recommend doing research on the Problem by looking up both about Minecraft and your Computer.

Maybe the usb port is broken or the usb that you put into the computer is broken? If they aren't broken try restarting your computer.

Yeah I've had this happen to me before, total pain in the arse. You see Windows has the tendency to have unneeded keyboard shortcuts, and a combination of certain keys may trigger this. Try to disable sticky keys by searching Stick Keys in the search bar if you're on Windows

There may be a few reasons why.
      I would try the following:
Replug the usb in the ports, try different ports and see if that is the issue.
      If not restart the pc
If not install the latest drivers for your hardware via "device manager"
If neither works try using a different keyboard and mouse and see if it changes anything.

I've never had this problem ever with my wireless. Maybe you can upgrade to wireless?

Does this happen on other tasks, like playing other games or watching videos?
If so, then it is your computer, not Minecraft. The problem could be within the USB ports, or your drivers.
I don't think it could be your mouse and keyboard, as they are both having the same problem, and to have the same issue on two things is quite unlikely, especially in this case.

I suggest checking your drivers in Control panel, then Hardware and Sound, and look for anything abnormal.

I saw a fix a few days ago to limit start-up programs and I haven't had the issue in a few days, if the issue comes up again, I will try these methods, thanks for helping out guys.

This use to happen to me. What operating system are you running? It may have to do with shortcuts. :)

Closing as this seems to have been handled.
