So back in I think April I created a thread which I told everyone about the MV advertisers. There have been a lot of newcomers to Mineverse since then so I thought I could remake this thread for newcomers + just to remind people. The last one got maybe 1k views, so I know we stopped 1k people from going on to those servers. So, you know those nasty advertisers that fill chat? They might say something like.. JOIN THIS SERVER! FREE STAFF! FREE RANKS! JOIN NOW! ->> (IP goes here)! If you DO see this, if you log on to their server there is a chance you will get your account hacked. Example: 1 person spams, someone joins, they get their account hacked, they become an alt. And it keeps going on. My friend joined it once and got it hacked about a week later, when he was in Mexico (With no PC). You just get added to the account list like everyone else and just end up getting banned. He showed with his pet, OF cape, rank. And a little bit later his OF cape was then stolen. In the last thread, these comments made me know people were safe from their account being taken by this server. "Thank you!" "Thanks for warning" Plus Cyp replied which made the thread get more views. <3 Remember to stay AWAY from servers that need to advertise on big servers to get people.
