Introduction Hello everyone! I'm JhowTheSloth, I made a moderator application a couple of weeks ago and a couple of you guys told me to improve on certain things so these past couple of week I have tried my best to become more mature and active on forums, Also in these past couple of weeks I have gotten to know the Mineverse community a lot better too and have made a lot more friends too . I have been playing Mineverse for almost 2 years and I still love it, the first game mode I went on was infection and I fell in love with it, infection is still my favourite game mode but from the past couple of weeks I have really started to enjoy prison, Op PvP and Skyblock. I also hope people can forgive me for my mistakes in the past and I can assure you that I have learned my lesson. How Old Am I? I am 14 years old. even though I'm a bit young I feel that I am mature enough for this job My In Game Name? My in game name is currently "JhowTheSloth" but my previous name was "JhowTheWaffle" What Time-zone Am I In? UTC/GMT +9:30 hours What Country Do I Live in? Australia What Languages Do I Speak? I speak fluent English and I only know a small amount of Indonesian from school. Do You Have The Necessary Means Of Capturing Evidence? Yes, I have Bandicam which is fast and easy to use which provides good clear easy to see videos which helps as it makes it easier to see if the player is hacking or not. I also can take screen shots. How Long Have I Been On Mineverse? I joined Mineverse around 2014 August – September. I believe that because I have been on Mineverse for a pretty long time I will be able to better moderate the server. Have You Ever Been Banned Before? Yes, two times both reasons were because I was immature and did not bother to read the rules, these bans were a while ago and I have learnt my lesson, I also have now been over the rules numerous times. I hope you guys can forgive my mistakes I made in the past. Do I Have Any Past Experience Of Moderating? Yes, but the servers I moderated were shut down not long after they were opened. That's another reason I would like to be a mod as I haven’t had the actual experience of being a moderator as all the other servers had only one person on a day. Why Do I Want To Become Mod? I would like to be moderator because I feel that I'm suited for the job as I'm not lazy because if someone needs help I will explain it to them until they understand so they can enjoy the server too. I consider myself to be a mature, trustworthy and respectful player who wants to improve Mineverse for the best. Traits Active I will strive to be the most active I can as being active allows me to keep the server G rated for all aged players. There is a certain section of the day where no mods are on and if I was to be mod I could feel that gap as I have nothing on during that time. Trustworthy I consider myself to be very trustworthy if my friends needed to tell me something important like a secret they would trust me as they know I wouldn't tell anyone else. I think being trustworthy is an important part of being a moderator because you need to make sure mods wont abuse their power and I can promise that I wouldn't if I was to become mod. Friendliness I think being friendly is key for being a mod as no player wants to be treated poorly by the staff and I think I am a friendly person as I show interest into what people are talking about. Another reason why I consider myself to be friendly is because I have a good sense of humour which I think is a good trait because I think people would respect mods more, saying that though I still understand I would need to be mature and make sure it’s still appropriate for all ages. Helpful I will always help anyone is the best possible way I could not matter what the problem is even if I don't know how to solve the problem I will try to contact other mods/ex mods as they might know. Hackers I consider myself to have very good eye at spotting hackers I have gotten quite a lot of people banned for hacking. If I'm not sure if a player is hacking I ask mods because sometimes it might be a lack of evidence or the player could just be lagging and I would take all these things into consideration when dealing with reports to make sure no one gets banned for something they didn't do. Maturity In the past I was pretty immature and I feel like I have improved a lot. If someone is causing a fight with me I now normally just ignore them, ask them to stop, find out why they're angry or get a mod. I really do believe that my maturity level is high enough to be a moderator. Respect I am a really respectful player I treat people how I would like to be treated even if me and that player had a disagreement I will still show respect towards that player as if I didn't it would just show that I'm immature. I'm sorry but I have to disagree, yes we had a disagreement. but I had gotten over that and this disagreement was a while ago. yes we had a argument on skype and I do admit I was a bit immature but that was a while ago. and I am not holding a grudge against you I was actually going to support your mod app but you rate abused
