So Im about to build a pc and was wondering if this is good. it's 1500$ AUD and runs most games like Battlefield 4/Hardline, Arma 3/2, DayZ, Watch Dogs, GTA 5, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Titanfall, Star Citizen, CS:GO and Minecraft at 1080p High or Ultra settings at 40 fps +. Here it is:
get 16 gb it's worth it ^_^ 8 is usually not enough but it mostly depends on what programs you're running I.E Chrome takes a lot of ram so you'd want to upgrade
Dont get 8 gb of memory if your getting that good of a computer just get 16gb / 32 gb of memory not worth saving like 40-50 when you already put in 1.6k Also would recommend getting AMD it is much cheaper / better than intel
Only reason you need 16 is if your using Sony Vegas or are some weird computer mathmetician. Even witcher 3 only needs 6 and that games a graphic beast.
Or if you use the computer for multitasking like I do ; Skype, Spotiy, LSI, Chrome with multiple tabs on a second monitor as I play LoL. All fairly heavy on the ram always get around 80-90 % of ram usage
I say get 16gb of ram for sure I got 8gb at first, what a waste of money. Just go straight for the 16gb.
You don't really need 16gb of ram to be honest. 8gb of ram is all you really need for games unless you work for Pixar and need 128gb of ram lol. For Ram bigger is not the better it's more like the same. RAM does not effect gaming performances even when you have 16gb of ram. If you have the money for it then get it if you want but it's better to just save your money for something better and save $20.00.
Thats horrible look at my specs. My build: Cereal Box (Case) Commodore 64 (Monitor) Harry Potter Book (Keyboard) A Lab-Rat (Mouse) Cardboard (Mouse pad) The headset that came with the Xbox 360 (Headset) Stool (Chair) Dictionary (Motherboard) Intel Core i900 568739k (Processor) Tree Bark (Graphics card) Sunscreen (CPU Cooler) Car Battery (Power Supply) Treasure Chest (Storage) Brain (Memory) Cost: $13.00
I would recommend getting a ssd, I got one and it works sooo well. Also, the graphics card is a bit overkill, but I guess if you're gonna be gaming a ton then it's okay. Also, I would also reccomend getting an amd processor, mine runs at 4.0 ghz without overclocking, and it was only like 150. Otherwise it's pretty good, but I would suggest a cooler because uhh. You're not gonna be able to overclock with the stock cooler...
If anybody thinks I'm like disagreeing with your comments, not trying to so yeah... these days SSDs cost so much. Yep that was pretty much it what I was about to say. "these days SSDs cost so much." xD
If anything, HDD is the way to go in my book. I seen a 1tb sdd for $500.00... that's one console killer pc for just 1 little box lol
