This may just be me, but I've been getting 300+ ping recently, usually I have 170 ping.
I've also seen more frequent lag spikes and freezes, in the past week I've been kicked twice due to lag and nearly died (I don't die lol) several times due to gap lag.
Is anyone else getting more lag than usual or is it just me?

(I'm asking so I can know whether this is something I can fix myself or if I should wait for the owners to sort it out)

It's not always your own wifi.

My ping has doubled (used to be 150, now it's in between 300-400) ever since KitPvp reset, and the new filter system came out. They must've did something wrong to cause this.

 

Agreed.. I thought my ping was the same until I logged on and hell broke loose.

 

Lots of lag now.

 

I use ethernet with 40 mb download, 10 mb upload.

Same, sometimes I get kicked from the gamemode. Kitpvp crashed twice and everyone in combat died! They need a new host

Im also getting alot of lag, Not just on Kitpvp, but on all the gamemodes.

 

Yeah it's getting laggier. Back in late 2013/early 2014 I had 20-40ms but now I get 300-500ms it's not my wifi. Most people who have played here for a long time have noticed a gradual increase in ping. Also there is random lag spikes where everyone on the server lags for a while that are much, much more frequent then back in the old days.
