Hello everyone, Maybe this has been suggested a several times, but it would be more enjoyable when the zombie skins are just people's normal skin. Some people have a team with someone, and it will be annoying when you get killed buy your team as zombie because they don't see there skin/name. Maybe you can just only add the zombies there name, because there skin isn't really needed Thank you for reading, everyone.
Neutral, In my opinion, if it shows their regular ign, and skin, people would be like, "Oh, theres a human over there." (from seeing their ign.) But, then it turns out to be a zombie. Also, seeing the zombies give it a more of a zombie infection feel... Idk if that makes sense.
Agree and disagree. Agree: Zombie skins are quite misleading when the original player's skin is a zombie. I say this because one time during a game some bloke had a zombie skin and I kept trying to shoot at them with my arrows but it turns out they were human the whole time. In the rare occasions my friend's timezones do line up and we're playing online together, it is difficult to tell if they're the zombie running at you, you know? What you stated about teaming above. I remember on the wayy old Infection where whenever you hit zombies "blood" came out, like the entity redstone has whenever you place it down. That was how I distinguished zombies back then until they took it off for some strange reason. Disagree: The zombie skins are entertaining and add to the entire "zombie apocalypse" mood. It also prevents people from going OP zombie without others knowing, because it really kills the game when someone goes OP zombie and gets in a group of mass humans and just attacks. Having nametags on only zombies seems misleading. I agree with what @Elephantlovr33X said about that, as I associate nametags with humans. I'd prefer if both zombies AND humans had nametags, or both had none at all.
Support. I miss the good old days of infection, and this was just one of those things that made infection original.
I agree we need name tags back, but that's for different reasons. The whole teaming situation isn't a big deal, in my opinion. Teaming as a zombie and a human usually just means the zombie goes over and chills with the human, which means they are probably going to die anyway if a large swarm of zombies come, name tag or not because you'll just be hitting every zombie you see.
