First off, please don't say "no support" just because you don't have a rank and envy those that do. Plenty of donators throw out their xp kits as it is to those without ranks to give them a boost in the infection level ranks. Onto the topic of this thread! Xp kits for donators become fairly useless after level 40 because at that point, lower level rank xp kits such as premium do not give one level and the higher ones like god and titan may only give 2 levels at that point and at rank 50, 1 level. I am currently a titan rank and I have found my xp kit to be completely useless by not even giving one level after the mid 60's which makes voting the only really practical way to get levels beyond that. (Yes I know you can get levels from games but that would be painfully slow, not to mention almost impossible for the lower ranked donators.) What I suggest is to rather than give each rank an xp kit based off of stack size (ie: /kit titanxp is one stack exactly), give the correct number of xp bottles to get up to a certain level. My idea for organizing this modification is below: Premium: exactly enough xp to get from level 49 to level 50 Sponsor: exactly enough xp to get from level 59 to level 60 VIP: exactly enough xp to get from level 69 to level 70 MVP: exactly enough xp to get from level 79 to level 80 Elite: exactly enough xp to get from level 89 to level 90 Supreme: exactly enough xp to get from level 99 to level 100 God: exactly enough xp to get from level 109 to level 110 Titan: exactly enough xp to get from level 119 to level 120 These numbers are just how I think it could be organized but it could easily be redone to however the staff seem fit if this were to come to pass. Also, when I say "exactly enough xp to get from level X to level X" I mean that from the start of the progress bar to the end for the xp level, that is exactly enough bottles to fill the bar, that means that for the lower levels you can still get more than one level out of your kit because you get the same number of bottles ;) Sorry for how wordy this was, please comment and leave your views on this! Ok Mr. Prestige 10, this type of thread doesn't aim towards you :P. Also I know that it is still possible to reach p10 and many have done it, it just takes a very long time and I am trying to make that easier for others.
I would say no support. My reason is that once the xp won't allow you to gain to the next level. You should vote which helps bring new people to the server which noob and crypt would like happening. May be a good idea.. but the thought behind a minor change could impact the flow of new players joining the server. Thanks!
I can see your logic and respect your views on it, but also realize that people may still vote to make the leveling process go faster still and if the numbers I suggested got used, most of the ranks would still need to vote, not to mention there are other gamemodes that people vote for also. In my opinion it wouldn't change that much by way of the number of votes.
Fair point, I only vote for infection but never thought about people also voting for the other servers. I'm kind of 70/30 positive of the xp kit modifications now
Support! Once you get to a certain level the xp is pretty much useless then...this would help so much!
