So basically I was thinking about how low a person's level can be and how they can be judged as a new player/bad player because of the fact they don't have levels, when in reality the only real way of getting levels is voting, otherwise you have a chance of other people stealing it, like with XP kits or kills, somebody can easily steal xp. My thought was that after all this time surely there could be an easy solution to this, instead of xp you could just as easily add money into the mix, and they'd rank up automatically once said balance is achieved. For an example, say for level 15-16 you would need $50, voting wouldn't give you any money, but it would give you the levels, as for kits, there's a way that you can add money into daily kits, which was easily pulled off on Skywars.
Support. I had an idea similar to this. It was how you get a dollar from kills, and 5 from voting (same bonus chances, just money) and you can use it in the shop to buy items (snowballs, air strikes, gapples, exp bottles)
No, no, the mistake you're making is, it would be the EQUIVALENT of leveling like this.. just it would be easier to manage+add ranks, and to keep leveling solely to the respective players.
The money system would be great, seen it on other servers and it would throw the xp glitches outa infection making it a better place. Support

I think we can say money is probably earned by surviving a round, Voting, Using a kit, Kill streak maybe.
The system would work like the currently and outdated xp bar to track the progress of a person in the game, you would automatically rank up to higher ranks and eventually obtain enough to be able to prestige, as usual. The reason this would be a benefit, though a bit of work, would be because of the XP glitches currently in the game, that this method of ranking up is outdated and that there are a lot of faults with it, along with the convenience that Infection is getting an upgrade sometime in the coming months, so I figure that this would benefit everyone. As for the money, it would either be earned by surviving x amount of time based on the time of the matches, say there could be "checkpoints" you earn, like "ROFLs" but for levelling up, also you could earn money(be it a small fraction, such as .10 or something like that.) per kill.
Yes, this sounds like a great idea. I guess I didn't phrase it properly, I meant how much would you get from serving a round, voting etc.
I love the idea, but it seems like it is going to get more complex and harder to explain. Also, would this involve a server wide level reset?
