Zombies shouldn't have the capability to use their armor because we're trying to get off blacklist and keeping Mineverse the same will just keep us on the Blacklist, we need to start getting rid of "Pay2win", I preferably think that /infection is perfectly fine, we still have the capability to use the swords that come in our kits, I suggest not having "Op Zombies" (Zombies with their kit) because as stated above, there's probably going to be zombies with swords with Fire Aspect I < (Example). I just think it's a better way to help Mineverse get off the Blacklist. Now that Cypriot and NoobCrew made an solution for "Spawn Camping/Spawn Killing" etc, there's no need to worry about having a "Op Zombie" in each game. I truly think Mineverse's 'new' Infection should not be called "crap" as it's nowhere near "crap".
^ Agreed. I personally really like the new infection, and I feel as if it has a lot of potential; several things need altering e.g map selection (playing mineshaft 3 times in a row makes for an enraged chat and bland gameplay) but it's still amazing ^~^
I agree that spawn killing and all of that is annoying but it's part of the game and we cannot really change that. However there are several threads mentioning that they would appreciate if zombies could have more overpowered kits. And at the moment it looks like it's going to happen.
Honestly, they both should be nerfed. I played it on a server when they were balanced. Infection is great.... If you count out the crap. Sickness in Humans: There are some random times you get blinded, posined, and slowed for a good 20 seconds. Making them Zombie Lunch Human Arrows and Airstrikes: Sometimes, Humans have enough arrows to shoot contently and not run out. This make Rolf streaks. and makes basically a Massive explosion clearing zombies out of the area. Basically giving them another one. also, the survivors are weakened like Human sickness. Doner armor and gear: Again, A server wide problem. Doners get a massive advantage with Full enchanted diamond armor and gear. Also some ranks I think have infinity bows. To balance: about 20 Insta-kill arrows. No Sickness. No reward for Rolfing other then the chat message. Now for Zombies. Reach- Zombies can reach a good 3 blocks more than humans can with Melee. So if you get corned, its over Speed- Outrunning a zombie is impossible. They go so fast and have the extra reach, if you are on the floor, that's game. Melee should be a big part. Bows should be treated like guns. Low ammo and rare. Not to mention the Maps are very human friendly.
Even then, adding armour isn't going to help, as zombies need to get away from the humans and then change into OP armour, then obliterate them to shreds. I really like @Teeeb's idea of zombies spawning in random places, as the zombies would spread out and not enough people could control the zombs.
I agree, infection without Op zombies is hard. But the reset was the only option at the time due to a bug, as Exstatisy said why not make suggestions to improve it? It's not the end of the world. Infection is still a fun gamemode.
