There's a conversation option when you click a profile.

 

Oh, didn't notice that. Click on their profile and click 'information'. Click 'Start a conversation' and type who it's to and the title.

 

This needs to be moved to private conversations. @TheNiceSnake

 

He was trying to send a friend his new in game name, it should be in his private conversations

We can't move threads to private conversations.
